Eddie is possibly my favorite character out of everyone in the Dark Tower books...next to that billy-bumbler, Oy.
He's tough and a smart-ass. This picture (more fan art of sorts) is based on the cards that the Man in Black showed Roland in the first book: "...On it a baboon grinned from over the shoulder of a young man with dark hair; its disturbingly human fingers were buried so deeply in the young man's neck that their tips had disappeared in flesh." The baboon stands for the addiction Eddie had to heroin, having a "monkey on you back" is slang for that. So, yeah...my tribute to Eddie Dean of New York.  Stock:  Brushes:    |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
